EASTWOOD Jazz Guitar
The wood for this 2005 guitar was salvaged from the customer's sycamore tree (felled 6 year earlier and left to dry out in a shed). Unfortunately, most of the wood was rotten and no use any guitar builder anywhere. There was, however, a suitable amount of good timber that could be used in the creation of this ES 175 style guitar. The job was far from easy, but Brian persevered, playing it safe with spruce for the top and mahogany/rosewood for the neck. The result is a stunning jazz guitar with flat-wound strings that looks and sounds fantastic.
