BLUE MOON
Built for Showaddywaddy in 1980 to promote their version of the hit song Blue Moon. It was used extensively on their TV and Live appearances and is quite possibly the most photographed guitars of all time, being featured in a plethora of books and magazines worldwide.
Paul Day, Guitar Guru, is responsible for the rescue of this wonderful instrument from total obscurity.Recently, Brian has made a new acoustic version of the Blue Moon, featuring a carved pine/spruce body and a bridge mounted piezo pickup. This instrument was made to order for a lady who is very "small of hand" and therefore needed a 22.5" scale in order to play. The results are shown here.
